At Scholars and Socials, Inc., we believe the future of learning isn’t found in a traditional classroom, but in the roots of the community. We are dedicated to reimagining education by bridging the gap between intellectual curiosity and social connection. We create spaces where Scholars (rigorous, hands-on inquiry) meet Socials (intergenerational community) to solve real-world challenges.
What We Are: A New Educational Frontier
Scholars and Socials, Inc. operates as a Learning Resource Center and Educational Support Service. We serve as a physical and social "hub" where students, families, and seniors collaborate to rewrite the rules of how knowledge is shared. Our flagship project, the Rooted Resource Lab, is where this vision takes ground—transforming urban spaces into living workshops for agricultural science and environmental literacy.
Our Approach: Col(LAB)oration
Supplemental enrichment through learning labs and more, moves beyond the textbook. By providing access to specialized tools, scientific mentorship, and collaborative research, we empower learners of all ages to move from passive consumers to active creators.
Legal & Operational Status
Scholars and Socials, Inc. is a non-custodial, supplemental educational provider. We are not a traditional primary or secondary school. Our mission is to augment the educational journey; we do not provide a core academic curriculum, and the primary responsibility for educational compliance remains with the individual’s parent or legal guardian.
We are a registered Nevada Nonprofit Corporation and are currently seeking 501(c)(3) status from the IRS.

Tori Klein
A former corporate attorney turned homeschooling mother, Tori is the founder of Scholars and Socials, Inc. After becoming disillusioned with traditional education models, she chose to design a rigorous, customized path for her own children.
Applying the same analytical discipline, strategic thinking, and research precision that defined her legal career. Her background in law sharpened her ability to navigate complex systems, advocate effectively, and build structured solutions where gaps exist.
Today, she leverages that experience to develop proven scalable frameworks, strategic partnerships, and operational clarity to ensure the organization not only inspires families, but functions with excellence and long-term sustainability.

Samantha Roberts
Samantha moved to the United States from Australia in approximately 2001 and has proudly called Las Vegas home since 2005. Her professional background began in luxury hospitality, serving as a concierge for a prestigious private residential high-rise, where she developed a strong foundation in leadership, organization, and high-level service.
Beyond her professional achievements, Samantha is passionate about travel, food, and building strong community connections. Her desire to serve on the board stems from a commitment to empowering families with meaningful educational options that foster both knowledge and independence.

Crystal Goble
With a background in administrative and executive support, Crystal brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and dependable operational insight to the Board. Originally from California and now based in Las Vegas, she understands the importance of structure and consistency in helping mission-driven organizations thrive.
As a mother, she is personally invested in advancing initiatives that strengthen families and create meaningful opportunities for children. She is committed to serving with integrity and ensuring the organization operates efficiently and effectively in pursuit of its mission.
